Tempura is prepared by dipping seafood or vegetables in a batter made of flour, water, and egg, and then deep-frying them in vegetable oil. At high-end tempura restaurants, it is often served simply with salt to enjoy the crispiness of the freshly-cooked batter. Otherwise, tempura generally comes with tentsuyu, or slightly-sweet dipping sauce made of dashi stock, mirin, and shoyu, along with garnishes to be mixed with the sauce such as grated daikon radish and grated ginger.
Incredible 7 course omakase! All the bites were perfectly prepared and the soft shelled shrimp were very fun. The wine pairing went great with the courses. It did take a little time between bites and we were there for about 3 hours total. I think this menu is the best bang for your buck compared to all the tasting menu options across the m restaurants.
Phenomenal experience with the crew at M Tempura. We opted for the M Omakase tasting menu and blown away with the 7 courses. Each course was different and this restaurant puts a different twist on each plate. I highly recommend the tasting menu experience.
Loved the food here, and did not have a wait which was awesome too. Everything we had was very delicious and flavorful. Next time definitely want to try more of the tempuras. We only tried the scallops and it was amazing. The staff is extremely kind and pleasant. Would certainly be back!
Great experience and amazing food. The food was delicious and fresh and you can taste everything dish after dish. Tempura are freshly fried and the our dessert- ginger ice cream, was great!
This was a unique dining experience for me and I enjoyed it so much! You select a set and the staff will bring you your courses at the pace you are eating. My husband and I are foodies and we absolutely loved how each piece of our appetizer/tempura/dessert/pallet cleanser was different and tasty. We were so impressed with this place! I highly recommend!
